Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
What it is:A dry cleanser that revives, refreshes, and recharges hair and scalp without water. What it does:Ojon(R) Rub-Out(TM) Dry Cleanser instantly "erases" impurities, toxins, excess oil, and product build-up. It increases hair volume at the root while treating the hair and scalp. Ideal between washings, as a hair pick-me-up, when you're in a rush, or when you overuse a styling product. The Dry Cleanser leaves hair cleansed, light, luminous, and healthy -looking.What else you need to know:Fortified with wildcrafted Ojon(R) oil, an ancient native secret to naturally beautiful hair from Central America's Tawira tribe, known as "the people of beautiful hair.(TM)" Supported by clinical studies to instantly hydrate, strengthen, and restore dry or damaged hair, Rub-Out(TM) Dry Cleanser is appropriate for all hair types and is eco-friendly.Due to the unique and rich concentration of Amazonian White Clay and Soap Bark Extract in our breakthrough dry cleansing product Rub Out, it is important to shake the product vigorously prior to use. IMPORTANT: It can take up to 1 full minute of shaking the product to ensure the solid & liquid contents of the can have thoroughly mixed together. Not shaking the can enough could result in clogging.

3 out of 5 stars works great but clogged   December 26, 2008
Melissa (pasadena, ca)
the product works really well. i'm not too fond of the vanilla smell, but that's a personal choice. however, it clogged after a few uses, just like everyone else. i would recommend buying the small size though, so even if it clogs, you used most of it already.

1 out of 5 stars Save your money   December 15, 2008

I will start off by saying the actual rub out product it self is pretty decent, however the canister the product comes in and the customer service of Ojon is the reason I'm giving it 1 star. I purchased a can of Rub Out and the nozzle seized after about 3 uses. I thought I got a dud, so I purchased another, it seized after 1/4 of the product was used. I purchased one last canister it seized after 6 uses. I have tried taking them back to Sephora where I purchased them and they won't take them back because they've been used. I purchased $63 worth of product and was only able to use about $15 worth of it. I have contacted Ojon several times about this and they haven't responded.

1 out of 5 stars Awful smell   December 6, 2008

This is the worst smelling product. It smells like a cross between incense and some old lady's perfume. It also goes on really wet and doesn't soak up the oil. Disapointed.

3 out of 5 stars Clogs easily   September 11, 2008

I bought this product and loved the results-it got the oil out of my hair and made it more full, however, I had to exchange it three times due to the fact that the can kept clogging. I finally gave up on it and went to another product.

4 out of 5 stars Good alternative to washing everyday   August 30, 2008
A. kennedy
I have bought this product at least 6 times and have never had an issue with it clogging. I am not sure why others have so many problems with it... I have an oily scalp/hair and used to have to wash my hair every day. This product refreshes my hair enough to allow me to wash every other day. This saves me about 4 hours a week in washing and styling. That's enough to make this product worth the cost for me. I would have given it 5 stars if the scent was milder. I have to use it at night, so the smell has time to dissipate.

Bath Salts

3 cups Epsom salt
1 tablespoon glycerin (from drugstore)
2 drops perfume or cologne
1 to 2 drops food color

In a glass bowl or cup, mix glycerin, half the fragrance and food coloring. Stir salt in a glass or metal bowl, gradually adding the glycerin mixture; mix thoroughly. If the scent is not strong enough, add another drop or more of fragrance.

At bath time, pour 1/2 to 1 cup salts into the water.
