I received a wrong item April 2, 2008 Baek Seung Hyun 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought 1 of T3 Tourmaline Wet-to-Dry Flat Iron 1 3/4" (83922) from Beauty Supply 4less on 16-March-2008. But on my disappointment, I received Wet-or-Dry not Wet-to-Dry I had been waiting to get my order for long days so I was really upset with the wrong item. I paid $73.97 just for Shipping & Handling charge. And Wet-or-Dry is much cheaper than Wet-to-Dry. Even though I paid extra money for shipping and handling, I got the wrong item cheaper than I actually paid and I cannot use my iron. Because I bought it for using on wet hair How do you work out this inconvenience that you gave me? I ask you to send me right item (Wet-to-Dry) then I will turn the wrong one(Wet-or-Dry) back to you. I want you to pay shipping charges for these two postal service. and let me know how I can use postal service for returning it while not paying myself. I want to use collect charge but It is not able to use postal service as collect charge. To the best of my knowledge, Fedex or DHL would be a solution in this case. Through those service, I don't need to pay charge. Also, I doubt a little whether the item I received was a new one as this looked like a used one. However, I believe it couldn't be that you sold a used one. I am looking forward to your quick response.
I LOVE this iron! November 4, 2007 J. Behnke (Minnesota) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have owned this iron for about two years not. Although I have never used this on my wet hair, I use it almost every day on my freshly blow dried hair and the results are amazing! This iron heats up in a flash, stays nice and hot and consistently gives me super shiny and straight hair. I always pair it with the Chi Silk Infusion serum (which I put just a couple drops and distrubute thru my wet hair prior to blow drying)because I think it is important to protect your hair when using tool like this. I have used other irons before but I have not been as happy as I am with my T3. The only con is that every once in awhile a hair will get snagged where the hot plate meets the iron, but it is very far and few between. I have used other irons in which everytime I ran the iron through my hair it would snag and pull out hair...this is not the case with this iron.
Go buy one from K-mart November 1, 2007 Shar (Pittsburgh, PA) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this iron on-line, my hairdresser used it on me and I loved the results. Previously, I'd bought a cheap one from Sally Beauty Supply for around $30, and was never able to achieve the same shiney, perfectly stick-straight look as the stylist. Silly me thought perhaps it was in the quality of the tool, so I went and spent about $150 on this iron. Actually, when I used this iron, my hair looked exactly the same as using the cheap iron. So, the problem is not the iron, it's my lack of technique. Obviously one can probably get the same salon type results with a cheaper iron if one is good at doing hair.
worth it! December 9, 2006 E (los angeles, ca) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This iron works really well. I've had for over a year now and although I don't use it very often, it's really easy to use and my hair always looks super straight and shiny! I especially like the fact that I don't have to blow dry my hair straight first like my hair dresser does, this iron does everything. No blow drying, just does from wet to dry. BUT, it does take longer than it would if you started with dry hair because before it actually straightens your hair it has to steam all the water out of it. So the first time you go over a section of hair with this iron, you should do it pretty slowly so you don't have to go over it too many times to dry it. Overall, it was well worth $200 that I originally paid for it and it looks just as great if not better than when I have the hair dresser do it. People are always shocked when I tell them I did it myself!!
Something smells fishy November 23, 2006 Ms Dang (South El Monte, CA USA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I ordered this product because it is a "wet-to-dry" flat iron, instead today I recieved one that is "wet-or-dry". In addition, mine doesn't look anything like the picture. I would give them a piece of my mind except it's Thanksgiving tomorrow. So beware buyers.
