Product Description
Get long, voluminous lashes with the original "tube" mascara. Tiny, water-resistant tubes won't run, smudge, clump or flake - even if you cry or rub your eyes!
Stop painting your lashes... TUBE them!®
blinc Mascara (formerly known as Kiss Me Mascara) is the original mascara invented to form tiny water-resistant "tubes" around your lashes rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied the tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes.
blinc Mascara will add both volume and length to give you a radiant natural look that lasts all day. Only when you are ready for removal, the tubes will effortlessly slide off your lashes into your hand without the use of a harsh makeup remover.
blinc Mascara has been clinically tested to be non-irritating making it ideal for sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, and active people in search of a mascara whose look, hold and ease of removal is without compromise.
Frequently asked questions:
I don't understand how blinc Mascara is water resistant yet it only comes off with the use of water. Is blinc waterproof?

No. It's better! Waterproof mascaras are so tenacious that they can often be difficult to remove, requiring considerable time and effort to apply a harsh makeup remover to the delicate skin around the eyes. blinc Mascara provides superior hold than most waterproof mascaras, yet only requires the combination of lots of warm water and gentle pressure to remove the tubes that the mascara has formed.

Will I damage or pull out my lashes when I am removing blinc Mascara?

No. Once the mascara is saturated with water, its hold on the lashes becomes neutralized and allows for the mascara to slide off effortlessly. In fact, simply showering is enough to completely remove the mascara without even touching your lashes.

Is it safe for sensitive eyes, contact lens & eyeglass wearers?

Yes.

1 out of 5 stars So disappointed   March 10, 2010
mkayreagan (Florida, USA)
I bought this on Carmindy's recommendation in her book. On the positive side, it doesn't run or smudge and comes off easily without black residue on the towel. But I have to give it only one star because it was extremely clumpy. I had to comb my lashes after applying and quickly - before it dried. Otherwise they clumped together and looked spiky. I don't want to add an extra step in applying mascara. Also I don't think my contact lenses liked it too much. And it was EXPENSIVE. Wish I'd bought it at Sephora where I could return it for something else.

5 out of 5 stars Best mascara ever!!   March 8, 2010

I've tried dozens of mascara and this one is great. It stays on but is easy to get off.

5 out of 5 stars Love this mascara   March 7, 2010

This is the only mascara that has not smudged or created racoon eyes even with a full day's wear. Finally found my holy grail mascara.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent if you have long lashes and issues w/ raccoon eyes   March 1, 2010
KJG (San Francisco)
Blinc mascara is not perfect, but it's the only mascara I've used that *never* causes the dreaded raccoon eye look. I have very long lashes, and the tips bleach out in the sun. Therefore, what I want in a mascara is color, curl hold, and no smudging. Blinc accomplishes all of these. The only other mascara I've tried that I can say the same about is Dior Show Waterproof, but it took me forever to remove that stuff -- so bad for both lashes and delicate eye skin. My two complaints about Blinc are that, after a full day of wear, it can start to flake a bit and that it seems to clump, but only on one of my eyes, which makes me think the issue has more to do w/ my application technique. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. Other than that, there is no smudging (and I mean zero, zilch, none!), nice definition, some added length, not much volumizing (which I don't want anyways), and nice hold. It does not come off when swimming or sweating unless you rub your eyes at the same time. Before Blinc, I used Shu Uemura's non-waterproof mascara, which is excellent but still smudges a bit. Over the years I have used everything from Maybelline Great Lash, Max Factor 2000 Calorie, Lamcome, Chanel, Benefit, Bobbi Brown (the one that says its creates tubes), Dior, Clinique, Almay, and I cannot remember how many others. So far, despite occasional clumping during application and a bit of flaking after a full day of wear, Blinc is the best I have used for my particular needs. If smudging is your concern, try Blinc. If you have tiny lashes and want lots and lots of length and anything more than slight volumizing, try something else.

4 out of 5 stars good for every day use   February 28, 2010
M. lesani (LA, CA)
I needed a mascara that doesn't smudge and this is the best I have ever tried (regarding smudging).

It doesn't give volume to my lashes, But it adds length by darkening the end of the lashes (of course, like every other mascara does). It loosens by adding enough water.

An interesting experience: Once I washed my eye, but didn't try to remove the tubes. The tubes became loose and came a little bit towards the ends of my lashes. I let them dry again and the result was: Much more length!

How Much Skincare is Too Much?

Every night I use Pond's cold cream to cleanse my skin. I follow the cleansing with moisturizer before applying eye cream and Retin-A. As you may know by now, I'm convinced Retin-A will be my secret to looking 60 when I'm really 70. Once every couple weeks I may treat myself to a microdermabrasi...

Rancho La Puerta's Famous Guacamole Recipe (Made With Peas!)

Last week I wrote about my stay at Rancho La Puerta spa in Baja, Mexico, where I exercised all week, got massages and facials and fell in love with a healthy guacamole recipe made with avocados and peas.

People wrote to me asking for more information, so I called up the Ranch's corporate offices...

How to Cover Up Acne Scars

I recently got a heartbreaking email from a young woman about to go off to college and struggling with acne scars. The scars, she wrote, have been a huge blow to the self-confidence she once had. She wanted to know if I had any makeup tricks for covering up the scars and she was worried that her ...

Three years ago I spent an unforgettable week at Rancho La Puerta, a fitness spa in Tecate, Mexico, where I learned about the benefits of fish oil pills from Dr. Frank Lipman, tried out Pilates for the first time, got a great low-fat guacamole recipe partially made out of peas (peas!) and learne...

My Secret to Amazing Brows

It's weird, but every once in awhile someone compliments me on my brows. Of course this leads me to wonder, "Why not my eyes? Don't you like my hair? Is 'brows' the BEST YOU CAN DO?" But I take the compliment graciously and tell them my secret to groomed brows: threading.

Every few weeks I wande...

Puffy Eyelid Treatment

12 chamomile tea bags
2 cups ice cold water

Put tea bags in the ice water in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store in the refrigerator. Whenever you suffer from puffy lids, apply a tea bag to each eye for about 10 minutes. For best results, lie down with two pillows under your head while bags are in place. This will reduce the swelling and soothe and refresh eyes.

NOTE: If puffy lids continue to be a problem, try sleeping with extra pillows tucked under your head for all-night elevation. This will help cut down on water retention.
