My daughter liked the hair straightener for two weeks, then it quit working!!! She is in college, so she had to send it to me, due to paperwork, $13.00, I sent it to the company, $8.00, the company is sending a new one, I have to resend to my daughter, $8.00. The $90.00 item is now $119.00!!! Hope the new one lasts!!!

This is my second Chi that I've bought and will only use these from here on out. I had to replace the one I burned out while traveling overseas (should have checked the voltage at the hotel before plugging it in!). They are great products, last a long time. I had had my first one 3 years and it was as good as the day I bought it until I surged it. These are the best flat irons!

As we know these are expensive flat irons - I dropped mine after a few months and the plastic on/off piece came out - I got it on with a paper clip then after the next drop off the vanity - that was it - Never worked again - It was good while it worked -

I've bought three Chis directly (brand new) from Amazon over the past three years. I use it about twice a week, and had one die on me each year. I thought maybe it was just bad luck after the first time, and maybe even the second, but several friends of mine have had the same experience. I finally wised up and bought the Metropolis on Costco.com (only $63 too). it's wonderful! My hair is much smoother, and it has a temperature adjustment. Don't waste your money on a Chi.
