5 out of 5 stars Love this stuff!   March 8, 2010
Heidi (Doylestown,PA.)
I now order this by the 6-packs! I have shoulder-length,fairly fine hair, that gets oily every day. As recommended by professionals, it's best not to shampoo each day, but that's almost an impossibility for me. This solves that problem....it's amazing how well it works...refreshing my hair, taking out the oils that weigh it down, and giving me a quick fix. This is not just for nursing home patients...I'm 51, and I also had my Mom try it on her fine hair...she also gives it a thumbs up. I will be purchasing the travel size, as it will be invaluable to me. Try it!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   March 7, 2010

This is the first time I've tried a dry shampoo and am very pleased with this product.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty good stuff   March 3, 2010
Danielle Owen (IL)
I received the product in a more than reasonable amount of time, but my only complaint is that while it makes hair look "fresh" for a while, its definitely not something that lasts all day, so you'll need to toss it in your purse for touch-ups.

5 out of 5 stars Great product when you are in a hurry   February 14, 2010
Gerry L (New York City)
Batiste Dry Shampoo is great to have on hand for those days when you just cannot wash your hair or get to the hairdressing salon, and something important comes up at the last minute. It "dries" out the oil in hair and gets rid of excess hairspray and grooming products so you can attend that important event/meeting etc. and look your best. Have been using it for years and it seems less "chalky" than the other brands around. Also good for people who have to be in a hospital bed and are not allowed to wash their hair - Batiste will get a person through for about 3 days with "cleaner" feeling hair.

5 out of 5 stars Great product for inbetween washes   February 4, 2010
Alexandra Smith (California)
I have moderately oily hair, and my bangs especially get oily between washes. A few sprays of this perks my hair right back up when I feel that my hair is a little oily but doesn't necessarily need a wash just yet. It also gives my roots just a little bit of volume, which I like. Others have complained about the smell but I like it!

What Happens When I Get the Blue Veins Removed From My Legs

These are my legs in a self-portrait taken on my recent vacation to Tulum, Mexico. I have worked with David Edwards, my personal trainer at the Rockefeller Center New York Sports Club twice a week for more than two years so I feel I've earned these legs and from the front they look great, but f...

Help! How Do I Pick the Right Foundation?

I remember my drugstore beauty days when I stood in the drugstore aisle trying to figure out my best foundation bet by holding up the bottle to my face. I inevitably picked the wrong shade and walked around with the telltale line at the jaw. These days, we're lucky most department and drugstores ...

How Much Skincare is Too Much?

Every night I use Pond's cold cream to cleanse my skin. I follow the cleansing with moisturizer before applying eye cream and Retin-A. As you may know by now, I'm convinced Retin-A will be my secret to looking 60 when I'm really 70. Once every couple weeks I may treat myself to a microdermabrasi...

Rancho La Puerta's Famous Guacamole Recipe (Made With Peas!)

Last week I wrote about my stay at Rancho La Puerta spa in Baja, Mexico, where I exercised all week, got massages and facials and fell in love with a healthy guacamole recipe made with avocados and peas.

People wrote to me asking for more information, so I called up the Ranch's corporate offices...

How to Cover Up Acne Scars

I recently got a heartbreaking email from a young woman about to go off to college and struggling with acne scars. The scars, she wrote, have been a huge blow to the self-confidence she once had. She wanted to know if I had any makeup tricks for covering up the scars and she was worried that her ...
