 A lot of unfair criticism December 26, 2008

After reading most of the reviews, I think I should say at the beginning: no, there is NOT a large amount of makeup, the brushes ARE low-quality, and the case IS smaller than I expected. However, I don't know if I've ever seen the variety of makeup available in one set that is in this one, and the value was good. If your skin doesn't do well with powdery makeup, then this is not for you, but after seeking out a few people, Sephora products are known to be a bit more powdery anyway. I guess it depends on your complexion. My wife for one was thrilled with the set, and the shades she doesn't like, we simply won't buy again. I think this is an excellent way for a lady to experiment with different shades and looks. And for the record, I've never seen a supposed 'high-quality' make-up brush...only overpriced ones. Most of them are brittle and lose bristles.

| | Beauty Recipies | Stretch Mark Cream1/4 cup cocoa butter
1 tablespoon wheat germ oil
1 teaspoon light sesame seed oil
1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
2 teaspoons grated beeswax
1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract (optional) Mix together all ingredients except the vanilla extract. Heat the mixture gently until the cocoa butter and beeswax have melted; stir well. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, if desired. Cool completely, then store in a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid. |
