My favorite is the Red currant. I have not found another candle that comes close to the quality of votivo candles and I have searched for a long time. Highly recommended.

These are great candles with long burn time, wonderful fragrance, and neat boxes...the new Color Collection has even better-looking boxes along with color container for each scent. Can't go wrong with either type but these are not bargain-buy priced...look at them as aromatherapy and enjoy!

I bought two of these candles because of the reviews. I was expecting too much. I bought the deep clover one and the clean crisp white. While they smelled nice the smell wasnt as strong as I expected. I live in a tiny condo and the only time I could smell anything from these candles was when I walked past them. I've had much better luck with a cheaper candle from department stores. Even yankee candles have a stronger scent. On the plus side the candles look nice and they were packaged very well.

I was v. unimpressed with some of the fragrances, especially Squid Surprise and Old Man's Cadaver.
Who the heck wants their house smelling like some elderly fisherman died there last week?
Also, an electric bulb works better at lighting a room and is way cheaper to run.

I received a Votivo Red Currant candle years ago as a gift. There are hundreds of candles and scents on the market, but I keep buying more Red Currant as it makes my older, pet-filled house smell just lovely. A delicious scent, definitely a quality product. Enjoy.

2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup fresh orange juice In a small saucepan over low heat, mix tapioca and orange juice. Stir in honey and let the "pudding" simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool. Spread the mixture over your face and neck and let dry for 20 minutes. Rinse. |
